Step into the world of Stitching the Sun – a halfday, handson workshop where youll learn traditional West African block printing, work with a living indigo vat, and create your own handstamped, naturally dyed fabric.

Outdoor setting under a canopy – fresh air, natural light, and ancestral magic.

Includes all materials + takehome pieces)

Limited to 10 participants – register early.

What You Take Home

·         Two handstamped, indigodyed cotton bandanas (or one scarf)

·         Care card & indigo vat recipe card – keep the craft alive at home

What to Bring

·         Clothes you don’t mind getting blue (indigo does stain!)

·         Closedtoe shoes (for safety around the vat)

·         Hat, sunscreen, water bottle (outdoor workshop)

·         Your hands and an open heart

About the Book

This workshop is inspired by Stitching the Sun: The Granddaughters of Hathor, a visionary Afrofuturist story collection where indigo, copper, and gold are technologies of resistance. Books will be available for preorder at the workshop.
