“We are the granddaughters of the sacred they could not erase, stitching our inheritance with threads of memory and the dust of ancestral earth.”
THE SERIES This four-piece embroidery series brings forward the legacy of Hathor, the ancient Egyptian goddess. Each piece explores a different facet of her divinity—love, music, nourishment, and cosmic order—using vibrant stitches, layered textiles, and luminous threads to weave ancestral memory into contemporary form. Together, the works create a tactile hymn to resilience, celebrating how ritual, creativity, and inherited power manifest in the hands of Black women today.
